Chobani Fat-Free Yoghurt

The warm weather of late has made me incredibly lazy when it comes to cooking. Just turning on the oven in my apartment raises the temerature to an uncomfortable level. So I was so happy to hear from the very kind folks at Chobani UK, who offered to send me some of their fat-free yoghurt pots to sample.

Chobani UK yoghurt

For me, there’s nothing better than a fresh pot of yoghurt straight from the fridge on a stinking hot day to cool you down from the inside out. Even better? This stuff is fat-free, and because of the way it’s produced (strained yogurt is thicker and creamier than most, much like Greek yoghurt, and includes twice the protein!), it’s a filling little tasty pot of heaven.

There’s eight very different Chobani to choose from: Apple Cinnamon, Peach, Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Pomegranate, Blood Orange, and Black Cherry.

I’ve spent this week tasting the entire range, and I must say that my favourite is the Peach, and Mr Q loved the Strawberry version the best. Oh, and for those with a bit of a sweet tooth, you’ll love the Apple Cinnamon one – it tastes like apple pie!

Also, because each pot only contains around 140 calories, these little 170g Chobani pots make a great breakfast for those following the Fast Diet, or 5:2 Diet.

Chobani UK also sent over a big tub of their Fat-Free Plain Yoghurt, which I’ll use later in the week as the basis of a garlicky tzatziki, or maybe the wasabi sauce for salmon from the Chobani recipe page on their website.

If you’re looking to get your hands on some of the Chobani range here in the UK, you’ll find them in Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Do keep your eye out for Chobani next time you’re doing the shopping – I’ll absolutely continue to purchase these for my fridge!
